😬 You can’t force a partnership
There’s no such thing as a perfect partnership.
Partnerships come in many different flavors.
But you can’t force a partnership where there isn’t one.
Especially if you’re in SaaS and working with Agency Partners.
You need a really good understanding of how they work with their clients.
Are they project-based?
Are they retainer based?
Do they want to purchase on behalf of their clients and manage everything?
Are they happy to make an introduction and let you run with it?
Are there other Agencies doing other things for this same client?
If you don’t understand how they operate and try to force a partnership, you’ll never get from 0 to 1.

☎️ Nobody wants to pick up the phone
We do not behave and engage as sellers or buyers the way we did 5 — 10 years ago.
Now, nobody wants to pick up the phone.
I don’t even pick up the phone when friends and family call me, because the phone is a distraction.
My ringer is off 24/7.
Same with email.
Unless I know you and recognize your name, the odds of me opening and responding to your email are slim to none.
No one can deny the shift. So what do we do?
Use your network and your brand.
I believe that go—to—market is not dead, but it is dying.
